Installation steps and precautions for shock absorbers

Oct 05, 2023 Leave a message

Step 1: Determine the installation position and quantity of shock absorbers. When selecting the installation location, it is necessary to consider the structure and working environment of the equipment, and ensure that the shock absorber can play an effective role in shock absorption and damping. A reasonable number and layout of shock absorbers are also very important, usually requiring comprehensive consideration based on factors such as equipment weight, size, and vibration characteristics.

Step 2: Clean and inspect the installation position. Before installation preparation work, it is necessary to clean the installation location to ensure it is clean, flat, and to remove any obstacles that may affect the normal operation of the shock absorber. In addition, a comprehensive inspection of the equipment is required to ensure the integrity of its parts and connections.

Step 3: Install the metal shock absorber. Connect the base plate or connecting seat of the shock absorber to the equipment base or ground, and then firmly fix the shock absorber in the installation position by fixing bolts or welding. During the connection process, it is necessary to ensure that the tightening force of the bolts and connectors is appropriate to prevent loosening or over tightening.

Step 4: Preparation for calibration. After installation, adjust and correct the position and installation angle of the shock absorber to ensure that it can withstand the weight and vibration force of the equipment, while maintaining the horizontal or vertical installation status of the shock absorber.

Step 5: Test and adjust. After the installation of the shock absorber is completed, testing and adjustment are required. By starting the equipment and observing the working condition of the shock absorber, such as its deformation, vibration amplitude, and frequency, to determine whether the shock absorber is working properly. If necessary, the compression degree and damping force of the shock absorber can be adjusted appropriately to meet the different needs of the equipment.
